3. Direction selection of moving targets

3.1. In "Iskra-1" and "Iskra-1" Д it is possible to choose moving direction. For the indication there are 2 LEDs on the left side of the handle in view of arrows that point the way of the direction (photo 11).

3.2. After power supply enclose targets control mode is automatically set. Radar doesn't catch targets of other direction. To change the direction press the button on the lower part of the handle (photo 12) you always will see the arrow that coincides with target's moving direction.

3.3. Note please that when direction of target is changed the information stored in memory cells is lost.

3.4. If the radar is used in moving mode with videoregistrator "Kadr-1", then попутных targets control is set as default.

4. Threshold sped value

4.1. If the speed measured is below a set threshold value, it disappears quickly from the indicator. If the speed exceeds the threshold value, the intermittent signal sounds and the timer begins counting. The speed and timer indications appear on the display alternatively without additional pressings of buttons.

4.2. When turning on power the threshold value of 72 km p.h. is set. For decreasing the threshold value press the left button and hold it until a desired value is seen. For increasing the value press the right button (photo 13).

4.3. If you hold the button pressed the threshold is changed for 1 km/h. However in some modifications of the device the value can change for 5 km/h (to hasten the setup). In this case while holding the button you will get the speed value on the display that is multiple to 5 and is closest to the speed value. 
E.g. It is necessary to set 42 km/h. Holding left bottom button with 5 km/h step you can get number "40". Then by pressing right bottom button you will get "42".

5. Sensitiveness Adjustment

5.1. In "Iskra-1" radar gun it is possible to adjust sensitiveness. This will allow you to choose distance of target's fixing (catching) that corresponds to given driving conditions. After power supply the average value of sensitiveness is set. It is marked by 2 short horizontal lines on both sides of the display (photo 14). In several seconds lines will disappear.

5.2. It is possible to change sensitiveness when you see "P" or "A" letters on the display. Press two bottom buttons simultaneously. Letter will disappear and on both sides lines will appear number of which corresponds to device sensitiveness level: one line on both sides means lower sensitiveness; two - average; three - high (photo 15). If you need to change sensitiveness press left button to decrease the level or right to increase it. Release buttons. In three seconds the device will return to working mode. Set sensitiveness it is possible to check by pressing both buttons again.

6. Memory cells

6.1. In the manual stationary mode it is possible to use two memory cells. When the radar has fixed speed exceeding (speed and timer indications alternate on the display - photo 16,17), it is possible to press the trigger again for measuring the speed of another target. If the sped of the second target is below the threshold value no fixation will happen. In the event of exceeding the threshold value the speed of the target and timer will be indicated on the display, the data of the first target not being lost but transferred into a memory cell. 

6.2. The availability of information in a memory cell is indicated by a flashing dot to the left or to the right on the display (photo 16). In order to recall the data from the memory one of the lower buttons on the control panel should be pressed (if the left dot is flashing - the left button, if the right dot - the right button). Then the data on the display are saved into the memory and the other data are recalled to the display.

6.3. It is possible to address the memory any quantity of times without any limitation within 10 minutes.

6.4. If both the memory cells are already occupied, another fixation being effected, older data are lost. Data of a new violator are saved into a cell cleared.

6.5. To clear the memory the upper button should be pressed
